Weekly Schedule & Events

Boulder Tea Hut offers daily Tea Ceremonies, a weekly day of meditation, workshops, group practice cohorts for training in the Way of Tea, and group outings to gather water from local springs. Our mission is to support and promote deep practice in the Way of Tea. .Our tea ceremonies will be on a sliding scale and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Anyone wishing to deepen their practice of Chadao, or who would like to serve at the Boulder Tea Hut should talk to us after a ceremony.

Cancellation policy: given that space is limited and often in high demand, we ask that you reschedule any appointments with at least 48-hours notice, using the link in your event confirmation email.

We will no longer be issuing refunds for cancelled appointments.

We explain this further on the booking page. Thank you.

  • Bowl Tea

The simplest way to drink Tea and how it all began millennia ago. We suggest that all people beginning a Tea practice drink Bowl Tea for the first six months to begin to get to know her without distraction or pretension.

  • Sidehandle Tea

The left wing of our lineage, Sidehandle Tea Ceremony practiced well holds a powerful contemplative space, and cultivating this technique here (and enabling others to do so in their own practice) is one of the main aims of Boulder Tea Hut.

  • Gong Fu Tea

The right wing of our lineage, in Gong Fu Tea we aspire to brew the perfect cup of Tea, possible only with deeply cultivated precision and inner clarity. We support this technique at Boulder Tea Hut with a wide range or Yixing pots and antique cups and kettles, as well as world-class Gong Fu teas.
